The style of songwriter, guitarist and vocalist, IRENE MAHER is heavily influenced by the music and culture of the 1960’s. In collaboration with flutist Pam Sklar, she was a Billboard Magazine Award winner for her song On the Horizon. Other musical highlights include Irene’s original Silver Bird reaching #8 on the charts on Women of Substance Radio and two other originals recorded on the Blues Mothers’ debut album. 

Instrumentalist and songwriter HOPE BERKELEY is well known in the New York metropolitan area for her creative and soulful harmonica stylings. Drawing on Chicago blues as well as jazz influences, she has played with numerous local groups and was a founding member of the Blues Mothers band. 

Flutist and composer PAM SKLAR collaborates with ensembles playing different musical styles including Classical, jazz, world, pop, improvisational and prog rock. Her acclaimed original music is heard on broadcasts, in workshops and themed programs around New York and in Spain. Her career highlights include recordings and performances for many well-known artists, international tours and original cd’s. 

Inspired by rock & roll, bass player and vocalist JOAN INDIG picked up the bass after playing a Silvertone guitar in her formative years. A member of Intuition since the band was formed in 2014, Joan is known around Westchester County for her harmonies and bass playing in the rock bands Riverrun and Ginger Moon, and the singer-songwriter trio Purrll. Her other bands included the Blues,Mothers and her family band Indignation.

The NFOPL Sale Nook

The NFOPL is acceping new and gently used books, dvd's, cd's and audiobooks for the NFOPL Sale Nook.  The NFOPL is not accepting textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines or damaged items.  Please stop by the Book Sale Nook located across from the elevator and thank you! 

Prices are as follows: Paperbacks - $.50, Trade Paperbacks - $1.00, Hardcover - $2.00, Audiobooks - $2.00, DVD's - $2.00, CD's - $1.00, Puzzles - $2.00.
